About The Program
Our full-day preschool program offers traditional play-based learning along with reading, writing, math, science, and social-emotional skills. Students also participate in electives such as music, art, and physical education.

Requirements
Students must turn 3 or 4 (3 y/o for Pre-K 3 & 4 y/o for Pre-K 4) by August 31st, and also be potty trained. For more information about admission requirements, please click the button below.

Tuition
St. Peter Pre-K tuition equates to $41.64/day of school. That’s right, our Pre-K is cheaper than daycare in most cases!

Ms. Sara McVey

This is my third year at St. Peter the Apostle. I am a parishioner of Saint Peter the Apostle Church and a graduate of Saint Peter the Apostle School. I received my bachelors degree from Stevenson University in Early Childhood Education. I serve as an HVAC technician in the United States Air Force. Outside of school, I enjoy spending my free time playing sports and hanging out with family and friends.

This is my seventeenth year teaching at Saint Peter the Apostle School. I am a parishioner of Saint Peter the Apostle Church and a graduate of Saint Peter the Apostle School. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and my graduate degree from Wilmington University. I am married with 3 grown children and two grandchildren.

My name is Dawn Wample and I am a 1998 graduate of St. Peter School. I have a daughter, Carleigh, who is my whole world. I was born and raised in New Castle and am still a current resident. I love everything about the history of the area and the families who live here. I am so incredibly excited to be back “Home” at St. Peter!.

This is my first year at St. Peter’s in the PreK-4 classroom as an aide. My daughter also attends school here. I love Dunkin Donuts iced coffee, trying new restaurants and shopping. Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my fiancé Andrew, daughter Arianna and my two fur babies Dallas and Meatball, going to our beach house and enjoying as much time in the sun as we can.

My name is Miss Elizabeth Graden but kids call me Miss Liz. Fall is my favorite season and I can’t wait for fun fall activities! I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon. My favorite things to do are hiking, photography, and being with my family. I am grateful to become apart of the St. Peter’s community and can’t wait to meet all of you!
